Therefore, we are happy to announce that for the third time, Nordic Ocean Watch Denmark and Øens Have are hosting a cleanup together to celebrate World Cleanup Day! Prepare for a hygge afternoon where we give Refshaleøen a good clean after a busy summer! Nordic Ocean Watch Denmark strives to strengthen the public focus on the extent of ocean pollution and its consequences.
We want to be part of a future where marine pollution is reduced through the actions of the individual as well as volunteer initiatives. Anyone can take part in caring for the ocean, by making behavioural changes and participate in activities many small actions can affect major change when combined.
To bring our vision to life we have several initiatives within three major focus areas; Knowledge Sharing, Activation and Community.
