Dear colleagues.

September the 17th is World Clean-up Day, one of the biggest civic movements of our time, uniting 191 countries across the world to tackle the global waste problem and build a sustainable world. Let’s join our efforts on the 17th or 18th of September for a waste-free world!

We, therefore, invite you to gather family or friends and collect waste for a good cause. This can be done over the weekend of 17-18 September, and Semco Maritime will provide waste kits. The ones who collect the most filled trash bags and the ones who take the best picture will win a prize. The winner will be announced on the 21st of September.

Information:

• Collect your waste collection kit Friday the 16th of September.
• Take a picture from your waste collection
• Count how many bags you have collected
• The picture and number of bags should be sent to sagr@semcomaritime.com at the latest Monday the 19th of September.
• Registration is required, so please register on World Clean-up Day 2022 no later than Monday 12th of September.
• Waste bags can be dropped off at the Esbjerg Brygge parking site on Monday 19th September, remember to sort your garbage:
  • Residual waste (cigarette butts, wet paper, other waste)
  • Metal/Glass/Plastic (in the same bag)
